This wonderful Travel Poster was released by QANTAS in 1959. The Illustration was designed and illustrated by Australian born artist, Harry Rogers.
Harry Rogers studied animation at UCLA in California which echoed in his famous Qantas posters. He enjoyed a long, prosperous association with Qantas as a freelance designer. He designed the iconic Qantas logo font in the mid-1960s.
This Pacific Islands poster was part of a series and features a geometric style, employing bold colours with a prominent identifiable dominant image for the country the poster represented.
